Executive Assistant - Female-led Biotech Start-Up, West London

Our client, an innovative, ground-breaking, female-led biotech start-up company is looking to bring on an Executive Assistant to support the inimitable CEO!
The EA will provide the CEO with exceptional support, ensure the day-to-day of the business runs smoothly and will lead on cross-team communications, HR, administration, procurement, travel booking and social media and communications. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple tasks at once, will have the ability to work both in a team and autonomously and will have a proactive and positive attitude to work.
*Please note this role consists of working from home four days a week
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the CEO’s diary
- Provide general administrative and organisational support to the CEO
- Travel management (flights, hotels, train bookings, and conference bookings) both in the UK and abroad
- Support CEO with effective and efficient recruitment, including inductions, training and development as appropriate
- Responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of the CEO’s office, including for the maintenance of equipment and ordering of stationery
- Provide research assistance to assist the team
- Organise events and social activities on behalf of the CEO
- Organise and maintain the organisational intranet pages, ensuring that all minutes are updated in good time
- Place online orders to outside suppliers
- Work closely with the team to prepare reports for both internal and external purposes and projects
- Manage contracts, paperwork and documentation
- Manage online filing systems and develop and implement administrative systems
- Responsible for ‘front of house’ answering email and website queries
- Schedule, attend and minute internal and external meetings as and when required
- Communicate and liaise on behalf of the CEO with a variety of stakeholders as appropriate
- Undertake research for projects, including statistical analysis, preparation of reports, presentations and correspondence as requested by the CEO
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisation and communication skills both in a written and oral capacity
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Tech savvy and proficient in MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite +/or equivalent design software
Salary
£30,000 - £38,000 pa
