Executive Assistant - FTSE 100, West London! (1 year FTC)

1 year FTC covering maternity leave

Our client, a global consumer-focused organisation, is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chief People and Culture Officer. 

This role will require agility so the ideal candidate will be able to provide comprehensive and professional support in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to prioritise effectively whilst paying meticulous attention to detail. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Anticipate and manage the Executive’s complex workload including diary, events and travel requirements
  • Act as an ambassador for the Executive within the business 
  • Comprehensive inbox management such as checking emails and ensuring queries are correctly answered or forwarded to the relevant person for action and following up
  • Dealing with confidential matters with a very high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality 
  • Ability to handle requests and enquiries autonomously, with little direction
  • Independent and creative thinking / problem solver i.e.  is there a better way to do something
  • Meeting and greeting internal and external guests
  • Send out agendas, taking and circulating minutes, uploading and circulating board papers, following-up to ensure action points are completed
  • Process invoices, expenses and also ad hoc payment requests 
  • Liaise with other senior EAs to develop optimum ways of working, cover for each other’s absence and work together on collective ad hoc projects

We are looking for:

  • Ideally degree educated or equivalent 
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant ideally for a PLC or large complex global organisation
  • Confident working alongside board-level executives and partners 
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills to manage a heavy workload with strict deadlines
  • Advanced with Microsoft Office packages in particular advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Additional languages would be an advantage
  • Hybrid working
