PA/Office Manager - Established British Bespoke Shoemaker, Mayfair

Vacancy Description:

Our client, a high-end established British bespoke shoemaker based in Mayfair, is looking for an accomplished PA / Office Manager to join their small yet successful team.

You will be liaising with an impressive list of often high-profile clients, therefore we are looking for an individual who possesses impeccable interpersonal skills and is able to articulate with clarity of expression. The role will encompass wearing multiple different hats at once therefore first class organisational skills will be crucial!

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Organise CEO’s diary 
  • Booking travel and accommodation for trunk shows, supplier trips, and any other staff travel
  • Ordering stationery, packaging, supplies, refreshments & equipment 
  • Assist with IT, photocopying and phone companies when troubleshooting arises 
  • Approving invoices for finance team - these include anything facility-related, self-employed shoemaker invoices, hire equipment, catering, mobile phone bills 
  • Emailing clients/customers in a timely manner 
  • Answering phone calls at the shop 
  • Updating clients when orders are ready
HR Support
  • Administration of employee-related paperwork, such as: employee files, contracts, inductions, and formal notices 
  • Handling employee relations, such as grievances and employee welfare 
  • Staff attendance and absence monitoring

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally similar experience working as a PA/Office Manager 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures 
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills 
  • Up-to-date with latest office gadgets and applications 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload 
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • MS Office/Excel and English proficiency/MAC
