We’re working with a successful, privately owned international business with a 60+ year heritage and operations across the globe.

The business is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation, and they’re looking for an experienced EA to support the Founder & CEO.

This is a true right-hand role supporting a highly entrepreneurial and charismatic CEO who has built the business from the ground up. He’s creative, hugely knowledgeable and relationship-driven, with a fast-moving and spontaneous working style.

You’ll need to be confident, highly organised and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to bring structure, anticipate what’s needed and build a trusted relationship. This is not a role where you’ll simply wait for instructions – there’s genuine scope to improve how the CEO and business operate.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a complex diary, inbox and competing priorities
  • Coordinate extensive international travel and meetings across multiple time zones
  • Keep the CEO ahead of commitments, priorities and deadlines
  • Prepare for meetings and ensure actions are followed through
  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper and key point of contact
  • Liaise confidently with senior stakeholders, customers, advisers and external contacts
  • Support business and strategic projects
  • Bring greater structure to information, documents and day-to-day processes
  • Help modernise the CEO’s working practices, including Microsoft 365, Teams and SharePoint
  • Anticipate needs and take ownership rather than simply react to requests

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience supporting a Founder, CEO, MD or senior executive
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, anticipatory approach with strong follow-through
  • Confidence working with a strong and entrepreneurial personality
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Discretion, sound judgement and emotional intelligence
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills
  • Resilience, adaptability and a good sense of humour

This is an excellent opportunity for an EA who enjoys being close to the action, likes taking ownership and wants to make a genuine difference within a growing international business.

Candidates based within easy reach of Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Uckfield, Wadhurst, Brighton or Haywards Heath will be well placed.
