Executive Assistant – Global CEO (Late-Day Business Partnering Support), London

Duration Permanent

Location London

Salary £55,000 - £75,000

REF: CGEA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable, commercially astute Executive Assistant to join a fast-paced, globally connected organisation, supporting a high-performing Global CEO.

This is not a traditional EA role. Sitting at the heart of the CEO Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless continuity across global time zones, acting as a true business partner during the CEO’s busiest external-facing hours.

Working closely with the Lead Executive Assistant, you will take ownership of late-day operations, ensuring the CEO is consistently prepared, informed, and able to operate at pace. This is a role for someone who thrives in high-performance environments, enjoys being “on the pulse,” and takes pride in enabling excellence at the highest level.

This position is focused on execution, responsiveness, and forward planning – stepping in from midday through to evening to manage priorities, support decision-making, and maintain momentum across the CEO’s global engagements.

You will operate as an extension of the CEO, ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes while anticipating needs and staying one step ahead.

Working hours are approximately 1:00-9:00pm, with flexibility required to support global stakeholders across US, Europe, and APAC. The role operates on a hybrid basis, with 2 days per week in the central London office.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide dedicated afternoon and evening support to the Global CEO, ensuring seamless continuity of the CEO Office
  • Dynamically manage and reprioritise the CEO’s diary across multiple time zones
  • Prepare high-quality briefing packs, presentations, and summaries ahead of meetings and engagements
  • Gather, synthesise, and translate information into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making
  • Coordinate complex client and stakeholder interactions, ensuring all engagements are well-prepared and impactful
  • Act as a central point of coordination across US, Europe, and APAC stakeholders
  • Support the execution of meetings, events, and leadership sessions to a consistently high standard
  • Draft communications on behalf of the CEO and track follow-ups to ensure momentum and delivery
  • Partner closely with the Lead EA to ensure a seamless handover and forward planning across the CEO Office
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time, operating with sound judgement and minimal escalation

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally 7-10+ years’ experience supporting C-suite executives in fast-paced, global environments
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities in real time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence drafting at executive level
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to understand business context quickly
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong anticipation skills
  • Calm under pressure, with high levels of resilience and adaptability
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
  • Confident working across international stakeholders and timezones
