Duration Permanent

Location London

Salary £55k-65k + excellent benefits package + bonus

REF: JDEA

We’re looking for an experienced, highly organised Executive Assistant to support a CEO within a respected, purpose-led organisation where collaboration, kindness and professionalism are genuinely valued.

Joining a close-knit team of around 40 people, you’ll become the central point of coordination across the business, working closely with senior leaders, the Board and colleagues across every function. It’s a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the chance to immerse yourself in the organisation and become someone people naturally turn to.

This is a business where people stay. The outgoing Executive Assistant is retiring after 15 years, reflecting the supportive culture, inspiring leadership and rewarding nature of the role. A comprehensive handover will ensure you have the time and support to settle in and build strong relationships.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Proactive, high-level support to the CEO
  • Complex diary management, scheduling and meeting coordination
  • Preparing presentations, reports, correspondence and briefing papers
  • Coordinating UK and international travel
  • Managing Board and Committee meetings, agendas, papers and minutes
  • Acting as a key liaison with Board members, senior stakeholders and external partners
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the office and liaising with workplace providers
  • Working alongside the HR Manager to support recruitment, onboarding and HR administration
  • Coordinating governance, compliance and health & safety administration
  • Managing executive expenses and supporting administrative budgets
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes

What we are looking for:

  • Significant experience supporting a CEO or senior executive
  • Previous Board-level support and governance experience
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
  • A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent judgement, discretion and attention to detail
  • The confidence to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to get involved wherever needed

You’ll be an experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys working at the heart of an organisation and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. Most importantly, you’ll enjoy working in a smaller organisation where relationships matter, everyone supports one another and no two days are ever quite the same.

Additional Information:

  • Excellent benefits package including Discretionary Bonus, Pension, PHI, Summer Friday early finishes
  • Hybrid: 2 days in office | 3 days WFH
