In-House Talent Acquisition Specialist - High-Growth Investment Company, Soho

Duration FTC

Location London

Salary £55,000 - £70, 000

REF: RCINR

We’re delighted to be working with a fast-growing, investment-backed business operating across a range of innovative sectors, including data intelligence, energy and technology. Following a period of strategic acquisitions, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking to significantly expand its teams across multiple businesses.

They’re now looking for an experienced In-House Talent Acquisition Specialist to take ownership of a substantial recruitment programme, hiring across approximately 15 roles spanning a variety of functions and specialist disciplines.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys working at pace, knows how to identify exceptional talent in emerging and highly technical markets, and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a growing group.

You’ll take ownership of the recruitment process from initial sourcing and screening through to first-stage interviews, working closely with senior stakeholders to understand hiring needs and deliver high-quality candidates. A particular focus will be on identifying talent within the evolving data intelligence landscape, so experience recruiting in data, research, information services or similarly specialist markets will be particularly valuable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of an initial hiring programme of approximately 16 roles across multiple businesses and departments
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening through to first-stage interviews
  • Proactively identify and engage high-calibre candidates in specialist and emerging talent markets
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, challenge briefs where appropriate and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Build strong talent pipelines across data research, intelligence, technology, content and related disciplines
  • Support recruitment across a broad range of seniority levels, from junior researchers and graduates through to senior specialist hires
  • Develop a structured graduate recruitment approach, with the opportunity to shape a future programme
  • Manage candidate pipelines and recruitment activity through the company’s ATS, Zoho
  • Provide a proactive, consultative approach to hiring, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience throughout
  • Help establish scalable recruitment processes to support the group’s continued expansion

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in an in-house talent acquisition or specialist recruitment role
  • A strong track record of sourcing and identifying high-quality talent, particularly within niche or emerging markets
  • Ideally have experience recruiting within data intelligence, technology, or similarly specialist sectors
  • Confidence managing multiple vacancies across different teams and business areas simultaneously
  • Strong sourcing, screening and first-stage interviewing skills
  • The ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders and understand complex hiring requirements
  • Experience recruiting across different levels, ideally including graduate or early-career talent
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to work autonomously and deliver results at pace
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Experience using an ATS; familiarity with Zoho would be beneficial

This is an initial 6 month FTC with significant scope to make an immediate impact. You’ll be joining a business with ambitious growth plans and a genuine need for someone who can take ownership of recruitment and deliver results.

The role offers considerable autonomy, with the potential to shape recruitment processes, build talent pipelines and develop into a broader talent acquisition position as the business continues to scale.

Working arrangements: Remote working is possible, with an initial period in the office preferred. A hybrid arrangement can also be considered.
