The Value of Having the Right People Around You
Why the people behind the scenes can make all the difference.
As we step into the Year of the Snake, this Lunar New Year 2025 feels even more special - it marks 10 incredible years of Biscuit Recruitment! A milestone that fills me with immense pride, gratitude, and a touch of disbelief.
In Chinese culture, the snake symbolises wisdom, transformation, and resilience – qualities that resonate deeply with our journey here at Biscuit. Over the past decade, we’ve evolved, adapted, and grown into a thriving network, connecting people with incredible opportunities.
Much like the snake, which sheds its skin to embrace renewal, we’ve continuously reinvented ourselves – expanding our reach, deepening our expertise, and refining our approach. And yet, at our core, we remain the same: a recruitment business built on integrity, connection, and a genuine passion for changing lives.
Biscuit started as a small but mighty idea – one that has since touched thousands of lives. From career-changing placements to fostering meaningful professional relationships, we’ve had the privilege of contributing to many success stories.
There’s a beautiful Buddhist saying:
“Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”
This rings especially true in recruitment. Every successful match we make creates ripples – shaping careers, strengthening businesses, and bringing positive change to people’s lives.
So, as we celebrate this milestone in the Year of the Snake, I want to take a moment to say thank you – to our clients, candidates, colleagues, and friends. Your trust, support, and partnership have made Biscuit what it is today.
Here’s to another decade of growth, wisdom, transformation and meaningful connections. May this year bring prosperity and perhaps a touch of the snake’s adaptability and intuition to us all!
Love,
