Finance & Operations Manager - Creative Talent Agency, Farringdon (FTC)

A well-established London-based creative talent agency is seeking a commercially minded Finance & Operations Manager to join the team on a 12-month maternity cover, with genuine potential for the role to become permanent.

This is an opportunity to own the full finance function within a growing, ambitious business. You will act as the No.1 finance lead – partnering closely with leadership, agents and external advisers, and playing a key role in shaping financial strategy as the agency continues to evolve.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of management accounts, reporting and financial analysis (P&L, balance sheet, commission reporting)
• Leading month-end and year-end processes
• Budgeting, forecasting and agent revenue projections
• Partnering with leadership to support commercial decision-making
• Overseeing revenue invoicing, AP/AR and cash flow management
• Payroll oversight and employee expenses
• VAT and Corporation Tax coordination with external accountants
• Monitoring international payments and exchange rates
• Maintaining financial controls, compliance and process improvement
• Supporting operational efficiencies as the business grows

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience in a mid-to-senior finance role
• Experience in a creative, media, talent or agency environment highly desirable
• Strong management accounts and forecasting experience
• Confident working independently as the lead finance contact
• Proficient in Xero (or similar accounting software)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Commercially astute, proactive and solutions-focused
• Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders
