Operations & Programme Manager - Mission Driven VC Firm, Soho

Vacancy Description:

Our client is an early-stage venture capital firm supporting founders using technology to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges. They back ambitious teams working on transformative solutions across science, energy and health.

We’re looking for a hands-on, highly organised operator to be the operational backbone of the UK operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the centre of everything: running programmes, managing events and spaces, and keeping day-to-day operations seamless.

You’ll thrive on learning new tools, love getting into the details and believe no task is too small or too big. You’ll work closely with founders, scientists, engineers and the global team to support groundbreaking work in human health, planetary health and big societal challenges!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Run the operational logistics for programmes, workshops and retreats.
  • Manage events, venues, vendors, budgets - creating vibrant and purposeful spaces.
  • Maintain dashboards, track progress, and ensure smooth programme operations.
  • Support and grow spaces and initiatives that bring together founders, scientists and innovators.
  • Oversee UK operations & finance: ensure operational hygiene, track receipts, reconcile spend and partner with finance for accurate reporting.

What we are looking for:

  • A builder at heart with experience in operations, events or programme coordination.
  • Comfortable managing budgets and financial processes.
  • Organised and detail-obsessed - love lists, calendars, clean workflows; comfortable with productivity tools like Airtable, Notion, and light automation.
  • Curious about science, innovation and technology.
  • Motivated by supporting teams tackling high-impact, meaningful challenges!

This is a unique, high-profile role for an exceptional candidate looking to make a real difference and support innovation at the forefront of science and technology.
