Part Time OR Full Time Corporate Receptionist - Global Law Firm, City
Vacancy Description:
Our client, a highly successful law firm based in Holborn, is seeking a professional and dynamic Corporate Receptionist to join their fantastic team!
We can be flexible and look at candidates seeking either:
- Monday to Thursday (with some flexibility to provide cover if needed)
- Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm OR 9-5pm
You will be the first point of contact and provide professional front of house services in the office, by arranging diary management, assist guests, IT set up and refreshments, in line with agreed budgets for all events.
This role will require the candidate to pay meticulous attention to detail whilst always exercising first class customer service skills and a positive work ethic. We are looking for someone who can anticipate the needs of the team and come up with innovative solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Answer and direct incoming calls, taking accurate messages or transferring to voicemail when needed.
- Manage meeting room diaries and ensure spaces are prepared, including reconfiguring rooms and setting up IT equipment.
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and colleagues, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Coordinate and execute in-house and external events, adhering to agreed budgets.
- Order and maintain office supplies, including food, beverages, and kitchen equipment.
- Liaise with Facilities and IT teams to address any operational needs.
- Open and process incoming mail and prepare courier packages as required.
- Undertake ad hoc administrative duties to support the office team.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a Front of House/Receptionist role.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a polished, professional demeanour.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience managing diaries and coordinating events (desirable).
- Flexible and team-oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Salary
£28,000 (£35,000 FTE)
