Head of HR - Shared Office Space Provider, City
Vacancy Description:
A fast-growing business in the flexible workspace and commercial property sector is looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of HR to join the team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and lead the HR function during a time of rapid scale and change.
You’ll report into the executive team and play a key role in developing and delivering a high-quality, people-first HR function that supports the business’s growth, culture, and values.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage all HR operations across the business
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding to offboarding
- Support recruitment strategy and execution across multiple teams
- Own and update HR policies, contracts, and compliance documentation
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and line managers on people-related matters
- Manage performance and appraisal cycles, and support employee development
- Handle ER issues confidently and fairly
- Lead HR projects including culture, engagement, retention, and change management initiatives
- Prepare HR reports, insights, and recommendations for leadership
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in an HR leadership or senior generalist role (preferably in a small to mid-sized business)
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Hands-on, practical, and solutions-oriented approach
- Comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels
- Experienced in managing recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and emotional intelligence
- Confident working in a fast-paced, changeable environment
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience preferred
Salary
£80,000 - £90,000 pa
